This policy explains what information CravEngine collects through this website, why we collect it, and what happens to it. It covers this website only.

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it:

• Restaurant name
• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number, if you provide one
• A link to your restaurant’s website or menu, if you provide one
• Which option you selected about how you would prefer to work with us
• Anything you write in the optional message box

Every form on this site is optional. If you do not submit one, we do not collect any of the above.

Information collected automatically

Each form records which page or link it was submitted from, so we know how you found us. Our hosting provider also processes standard technical information required to serve a website, such as your IP address and browser type.

This site does not use analytics or advertising tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no advertising or third-party tracking script on this site. This site does not set cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.

How we use it

We use what you submit to:

• Reply to you, and have the conversation you asked for
• Look at your restaurant’s website or menu before we speak, if you gave us the link
• Prepare a demonstration relevant to your restaurant, using information that is already public
• Understand which pages and links lead to enquiries, so we know what is worth doing

We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form. If you ask us to keep in touch, we will, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate this site. They process information on our behalf in order to make the site work:

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives and stores form submissions.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site. Loading a font means your browser makes a request to Google, which necessarily reveals your IP address to them.

These are the only third parties involved in operating this site as it currently stands.

Selling personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We do not trade, rent or otherwise pass on what you submit, other than to the providers above who need it to operate the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful for the conversation you started, and for our own records afterwards. We do not keep information we have no reason to keep, and we will delete your enquiry on request.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are held in our providers’ systems under their access controls. We take reasonable care with what you send us. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your requests

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@cravengine.com or call (720) 256-3690 and we will deal with it.

Children

This site is intended for restaurant owners and operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Links to other sites

This site links to restaurants we have built websites for. Those are separate sites with their own practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes — for example if we add analytics, advertising tools or a customer relationship system — we will update this policy and change the date at the top before those tools go live.
